Becky began swimming at age 4 and continued learning strokes, dives, and water safety until she was old enough to become a lifeguard and swim instructor, and eventually a pool director. She has taught for more than 20 summers at summer camp and community pools. She loves to see swimmers conquer their fear of water and begin to really swim. She has taken students from entry level to proficient swimmer; the reward for both student and teacher is a bond and friendship that continues today. Becky is a certified elementary teacher which gives her insight into working with children and parents alike. She is also the activities coordinator for Shared Adventures-- which gives her insight and skill in working with students who have special needs, abilities, or disabilities. You can find Becky keeping up her own swimming skills at the Swim Center during adult lap swim. View availability and book lessons with Becky G online!
