Day Trips

County Parks offers a wide variety of local trips for older adults and seniors. We utilize luxury motor coaches (with a restroom onboard) for all trips. Included in the registration fee for each trip is bus transportation, tour guide, and entry fees; lunch is included only when specified. Past day trips have included a 2-hour cruise on the Chardonnay II, museum tours, wine tasting, SF Giants baseball games, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco shopping and more!

Destination Vacations

County Parks offers destination vacations with Collette Vacations and Premier World Discovery. Trips include your sightseeing, entertainment, admissions to museums and parks, great hotels and many meals, making a wonderful experience for you from start to finish. Tour managers are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge about your destination and will be with you every step of the way, handling the tedious details, while you relax and enjoy the trip.

How to Register Online

Create an account on ActiveNet.
Navigate to the Activities tab in the menu.
Select Active Adults.
Register for your desired program and complete payment.

Accessibility

County Parks strives to make our programs accessible to all individuals and will make reasonable accommodations to ensure accessibility to individuals needing such assistance. If you have accessibility requests or concerns and would like more information and support, please contact us.

Cancellations & Refunds

Requests for credits or refunds must be submitted in writing or by email.
Four days or more prior to activity start date, participants may receive full credit to their account that is valid for one year,
or a refund can be issued minus a $5.00 cancellation fee.
Three or fewer business days prior to activity start date, refunds, credits or transfers will not be issued.
Refunds are not available if the class has met three times, or if a participant fails to attend.
If a program is cancelled by Parks, a full refund will be issued within 4 weeks.
Please note, destination vacations are subject to different cancellation and refund policies.
