Anna Jean Cummings Park has one large picnic pavilion area split into two sides, Picnic Area A and Picnic Area B, or as combined group Picnic Area AB. Both sides each have a large barbecue grill and are close to playgrounds, permanent restrooms, and lawn areas. The park also has sports fields and trails on the upper bench of the park. We recommend booking early to get a reservation at this popular picnic area!
Anna Jean Cummings Park has two baseball/softball fields and four soccer fields. Baseball/softball fields share space with soccer fields #3 and #4. Availabilty for these fields is limited per sports season. All athletic fields are close to parking, playgrounds, picnic tables, permanent restrooms, and open space trails.

The art at Anna Jean Cummings County Park is called Skyballs, by Steve Gillman and Katherine Keefer, 2001.
Four sky-blue balls appear to be rolling down the gently sloping hill. A team of artists constructed the 8-9 foot diameter concrete spheres.
Martina Castro held the 1833 Rancho Soquel land grant that included today’s Soquel Village and surrounding area. Her family raised cows for hides and tallow that were shipped to markets from the beach at the mouth of Soquel Creek. Castro’s adjacent land grant included more than 32,000 acres of forested hillsides above Soquel.
Formerly O’Neill Ranch, the Anna Jean Cummings Park property was originally purchased by the County Redevelopment Agency in 1989.
